Vitamin ‘A’ – Vitamin ‘A’ strengthens the eyes, skin, and immune system of our body. Its chemical name is retinol. The disease caused by its deficiency is night blindness. Its main sources are green leafy vegetables, fish oil, cheese, eggs and milk etc.
Vitamin ‘D’ – The chemical name of vitamin ‘D’ is calciferol. rickets due to its deficiency. Its main sources are sunlight, milk, eggs, fish oil etc.
Vitamin ‘E’ – Vitamin ‘E’ helps keep your skin and eyes healthy while also boosting your immune system to fight off illnesses and infections. Its chemical name is tocopherol. Its main sources are sprouted wheat, milk, fish oil, egg etc.
Vitamin ‘K’ – This vitamin helps in blood clotting. Its chemical name is phylloquinone. Its main sources are green vegetables, tomatoes and it is also produced in the intestine.
